Here's an unpopular opinion about IVF..

IVF is an amazing tool that we are so lucky to have, and in some cases it is very much needed to bring the egg and the sperm together. However it does not bypass the essential factors needed to influence the quality of that egg and sperm, which is essential for success.
Here’s the unpopular opinion, IVF does not:
• Reduce the oxidative stress that can damage your eggs, only your antioxidant status can influence this.
• Address insulin resistance and issues with blood sugar balance. High insulin levels can affect egg quality at cellular level as well as creating inflammation in the ovarian environment.
• Bypass any inflammation impacting the uterine environment. This can affect the composition of your follicular fluid, and how receptive your endometrium is to implantation.
• Solve micronutrient deficiencies. This is one that I see all the time and I wish so much that people were at least given this basic information before starting an IVF round, without sufficient nutrient stores your body will struggle to support the key processes involved in IVF — including hormone production, egg quality, implantation, and early embryo development.
So many people are rushed into IVF without first building the foundations that their body truly needs. With IVF success rates often around 20–30%, this preparation can make a meaningful difference- these foundations are just as important for anyone trying to conceive naturally.I look at the whole ecosystem your body is trying to conceive within: your vaginal and gut microbiome, levels of inflammation, nutrient status, thyroid health, nervous system balance, and emotional load- all the layers that quietly influence fertility, implantation, and overall wellbeing. 🌿 Get in touch if you want to begin this process knowing that you have done everything you can to increase your chance of success ❤️ #ivfjourney #ivf #ttc #fertility #fertilitynutritionist
